Ethical Considerations in Clinical Supervision
 
This workshop addresses ethics in the delivery of Clinical Supervision in Counseling and Psychotherapy. The American Counseling Association’s division of Counselor Education and Supervision’s ethical guidelines will be reviewed; case studies in supervision will be explored along with the latest research findings on effective supervision. The workshop content and case examples will give provide a 360 view of various dilemmas. A small group format will be employed to maximize learning. This workshop is intended to satisfy the requirements toward the “Approved Supervisor List” with the Licensed Professional Counselor’s Association of Georgia.

Relational Model for Clinical Supervision
 
This workshop presents a psychodynamic or relational approach in the practice of clinical supervision. It explores how supervisors and supervisees co-construct meaning in the treatment relationship and the supervisory relationship. It will also address issues related to power and authority; along with parallel process as an informative tool for clinical supervisors. Time: 10:00am-4:30pm (5 CE’s- approval pending from the LPCA)
