Distance Clinical Supervision

On October 11, 2019 I have the honor of hosting my friend and colleague Ray Barrett of the Telehealth Certification Institute. He will be facilitating a training titled “Telemental Health Law & Ethics.” This is probably my 6th time hosting Ray in Atlanta. He is an LPC and one of our nation’s leading experts in telemental health. If you would like to attend this event, please register now. It will be held at the Link Counseling Center in Sandy Springs. Please use the discount code “ItCounts” for 10% off. By the way, “hosting” means that I will be there. There are CE’s for Social Workers, Counselors, MFT’s, Psychologists and other allied professionals. To learn more, follow the link for Telemental Health under the Training tab above, or go to https://www.developmentcounts.com/telemental-health/.

A few weeks ago I wrote about how I have been able to transition my practice into one that primarily provides distance supervision and consultation services. (Missed it? To read more, click here.) My colleague, Ray Barrett, recently interviewed me regarding all things distance supervision. I’ve included a link to the interview below so you can learn more about my experiences and distance supervision.
