Part 2: TeleMental Health Clinical Skills

This course will teach you the clinical aspects of providing behavioral health services via video and phone sessions. It covers how to create an emergency management plan, how to assess a prospective client for fit, and the complete process of conducting telemental health sessions. By practicing the skills of telemental health during a live webinar, you will feel more confident in offering these services to clients.

— The online self-study is a bundle of three modules. Lessons are presented in recorded video format and the participant progresses at their own pace. The fee for the online self-study is $125 and registrants earn 3.5 CE hours. (Use the code ItCounts when you register and receive a 10% discount.) You may begin the course work as soon as you enroll.

Raymond Barrett, LMHC, LPC, DCC, BC-TMH, M.S., has extensively provided telemental health counseling services in private practice, for facilities, and for an EAP program. Both as a practitioner and trainer, his aim is to fill every knowledge gap as it arises in the telemental health profession, and that his training allows for immediate implementation.  Ray has developed several courses on telemental health and ensures his courses are kept updated.  Trainees find Ray to be very approachable, available and knowledgeable.
